For private commissions the terms and conditions are simple:
Between us we fix a price or price range for the work we decide on, – often an up to price is more realistic, and yes, it can happen that you get some change, but I won’t promise.
I will ask for a 50% deposit upfront, to cover subject research, materials, design and labour. Please note this is non-returnable. Depending on the size of the work I may ask for another 25% at the halfway stage, and the rest of the payment is due when the work is handed over, most of the time though it’s 50% up front, 50% at the end of the work.
As I’m a bit of a perfectionistic quality freak, obvious when you look at my work on this site, you will find there are no shortcuts or shoddy work to be seen, whatever your artistic taste.
